BOOK DESCRIPTION:

Sticky the Fly's Web of Lies is an inspiring children's story about overcoming insecurities, the power of honesty, and not taking what isn't ours. Sticky Sly, a clever, energetic, yet envious fly, longs to be admired like the other insects in the garden. While the bees diligently work to make honey, the caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies, and Azra, the spider, teaches the garden community about teamwork, Sticky puts the "lies" into "flies" by trying to take credit for their hard work instead of embracing who she truly is.

Sticky's envy leads her further into her tangled web of lies when she gets caught in Azra’s majestic web while attempting to take it from her. Through this experience, Sticky learns a difficult but valuable lesson, realizing that true success isn't about the outcomes—it's about the intention and hard work that goes into each creation. Ultimately Sticky learns that honesty is the only way to truly fly.

Through playful storytelling and vibrant illustrations by Rita Vigovszky, Sticky the Fly's Web of Lies will inspire young readers to appreciate their individuality while understanding that growth comes from learning from their mistakes. Sticky’s journey reveals that while shortcuts may seem appealing, they often lead to even bigger challenges.

In an age of copy-and-paste shortcuts, this story teaches kids the timeless value of originality, integrity, and putting in the effort to create something truly their own, AND this fun book includes creative work pages with inspirational prompts and exercises for kids to do at home, fostering reflection and imagination in every child who reads it!

This book is a fantastic book for teachers to read and share in school!
